A Strong Academic and Teaching Background


Mr. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Dramatic Literature from the University of Minnesota and a graduate degree in English Education. He is not only an expert in English instruction, but is also well-versed in British and American literature, history, philosophy, and sociology—an academic foundation that adds cultural depth and perspective to his teaching.

 

  • Taught in Japan for 11 years as a lecturer at NOVA Language School and served as a chief editor of English textbooks; later became the head teacher at SAIEI School.
     

  • Former English lecturer at Kaplan International Seattle Branch.
     

  • Previously taught English in American private high schools.
     

  • Currently focuses on K–12 small group and one-on-one after-school English instruction, including reading, writing, public speaking, and debate training.

His students typically come from top private schools and gifted programs in public schools. Global Reach Through Online and In-Person Teaching


With the rise of online learning, Mr. Chris now teaches students across the U.S., as well as in Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and international schools in China. Students from various regions can benefit from his high-quality and efficient English instruction.
Each summer, Mr. Chris is also invited back to China to serve as a judge for English speaking competitions and to teach in American-style summer camps.
